Day 1:
- 1 cup milk (very warm)
- 1/2 cup butter (add to milk to melt)
- 1 cup warm water
- Melt butter in milk.
- Add water and allow mixture to cool slightly
- Mix in :
- 1 Tbsp yeast
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 4 cups flour- add flour one cup at a time until soft dough forms
4. Knead on floured surface until elastic
Day 2: (or 2hr at least)
5. Roll into 2 rectangles
6. Spread with soft butter
7. Mix brown sugar with cinnamon powder to taste. Spread over butter.
8. Roll up- slice evenly and place on greased pans (Let it rise again if time)
Optional Glaze:
- 2 Tbsp butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 5-6 Tbsp milk
*also try subbing orange juice or chocolate milk for milk
